Lavender Flower Body Oil

I want to take a break from the usual wordy posts to give something to you guys! Before I became serious about soap making I tried little handmade projects like scrubs and oils and toners. I enjoy the ability to make something with just a handful of ingredients that are pretty easy to find! I thought I’d start with a relaxing lavender body oil to relax your muscles after a long day! Enjoy!

What You’ll Need:

  • 2 Cups Sweet Almond Oil (if allergic use Apricot Kernal or Grapeseed Oil)
  • 2 Teaspoons Lavender Extract (Can be found in baking aisle or health food stores)

  1. Warm the oil and gently stir in the lavender extract; simmer for 5 minutes.
  2. Take off heat and let it cool down. Pour it into a reclosabe bottle.

How To Use:

Massage the oil into your skin after a bath or shower. This mixture will keep for about 6 months to a year. Do not ingest or rub in sensitive areas (i.e. eyes)!
